SNOWCLUBS.COM designs your site to serve your particular needs. The overall site theme should reflect your clubs existing public image. It should emphasize your club colors and blend them attractively into the site. Some colors are more conducive to pleasant presentation and we will advise and recommend based on our experience.
You ultimately decide on the site overall layout.

It is very important to keep in mind that the majority of internet viewers are still using older hardware and software. You want your site to be easily viewable by everyone. Commonly used web browsers interpret the coding information differently so that only the latest browser versions and up to date user hardware are fully capable of easily displaying complicated web page layout.
In other words keep it simple and all your viewers will enjoy it.

Our main goal is to make your site look good and load fast

#1 - The process begins with you providing us material and documentation on your club. such as - your logo - newsletters - contacts names - photos of members and activities - generally anything you would like included on your site. We have scanning equipment and graphic editing software so we will take care of all the digitizing of your materials.

#2 - We will construct a basic club information page for the purpose of determining the color scheme - layout - and site navigation method (ie:frames or no frames)etc. when these basic items are agreed upon, we will constuct the entire site and submit it for your review. at this point we will attempt to arrive at a final design approval.

#3 All the web site coding and links will be verified using html validation software to ensure browser compatibility. - your site will be installed on the server and connected to the world wide web

Do you offer web page design services?

Yes, SNOWCLUBS.COM specializes in functional, fast loading web pages that provide your site visitors easy navigation through your pages. By keeping your site simple we can keep the costs down.

What is the difference between Sub Domain Account and Your Own Domain Account??

A Sub Domain Account uses the domain of our host domain (snowclubs.com) proceeded by your account's username, an example of a sub domain web site address is: http://yourclub.snowclubs.com/. Sub Domain accounts share server space and bandwidth with other like accounts.
Your Own Domain Account requires a separate hosting account and has its own domain name for it's address, server space and designated bandwidth. Your Own Domain Account address is http://www.YOURCLUB.com/.

Can I upgrade from a Sub Domain Account to Your Own Domain Account?

Yes, you can upgrade from a Sub Domain Account to a Your Own Domain Account at any time. There is a $100 Snowclubs.Com fee for the switch that covers the conversion of your account. The switchover does involve creating a new account, so there will be a need to re-upload your files. Contracting for a separate hosting account and domain registration will be additional costs.

How do I transfer files to my web site?

Files must be transferred to the web server via File Transfer Protocol (FTP). There are many FTP programs available for both PC and Macintosh. For the PC we recommend WS_FTP and for the Macintosh we recommend Fetch.

Will I have unlimited access to my pages?

Yes, you will have unlimited access via FTP 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, so that you may update your web site and account features at your leisure.
